Landau Associates has prepared environmental documentation for a diverse range of projects in compliance with both the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and the Washington State Environmental Policy Act (SEPA). We have also prepared and coordinated federal, state, and local permitting documents, resulting in issuance of environmental project permits and approvals. Our services also include project scoping, and negotiation of effective and practical project impact mitigation and permit provisions with permitting and resource agencies.

Our environmental permitting services include:

• Documentation Management: management and preparation of environmental impact statements (EISs) and environmental assessments under NEPA and conforming state requirements; EISs and environmental checklists under SEPA; strategy development; scoping; notification support; and agency consultations and negotiations.
• Permitting services for federal, state, and local permits including Joint Aquatic Resources Permit Applications for local government shoreline and critical area permits, state Hydraulic Project Approval and Section 401 Water Quality Certification, and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Section 404 permits.  
• Environmental Analyses: assessment of impacts to the human, biological, and physical environments imposed by proposed projects and their alternatives.
