Does Your Facility Discharge Stormwater to a Puget Sound Sediment Cleanup Site?

< Back

Puget Sound Sediment Cleanup Sites include Bellingham Bay, Budd Inlet (Inner), Commencement Bay (Inner), Commencement Bay (Outer), Dalco Passage and East Passage, Duwamish Waterway, Eagle Harbor, Elliott Bay, Everett/Port Gardener, Hood Canal (North), Liberty Bay, Port Angeles Harbor, Rosario Strait, Sinclair Inlet, and Thea Foss Waterway.

Significant changes to the Washington Industrial Stormwater General Permit will take effect January 1, 2015. Don’t be caught unprepared for new sampling and reporting requirements! Does the new 30 mg/L TSS limit apply to your facility? If so, can you meet that new limit?

Also, it may be in your best interest to remove accumulated sediment from your facility’s storm drain lines now – including inlets, catch basins, sumps, conveyance lines, and oil/water separators. Landau Associates can help you to prepare your facility to comply with upcoming changes to your Permit.
