We embrace young talent.

Landau proudly employs talented people from all walks of life. A career at Landau is not a life sentence-we hire people who want to invest in and have ownership of their future.

What ownership looks like:

In addition to our Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP), employees can further invest in Landau stock through direct share purchase. Currently 67% of all eligible employees own additional shares of Landau stock. These direct shares are widely held-no one employee owns more than 8% of the company-leading to an open and transparent company culture. As an employee, your voice is heard, you understand how the company is run, and you participate equitably when the company does well.

Landau Staff Makeup by Generation:

“I came to Landau from another consulting firm 7 years ago, and over my time here I’ve grown more than I could have expected. This is largely because at Landau, we take ownership of our work and are given the freedom to do so. With encouragement from my coworkers, I’ve stepped up to take on challenges even in areas I didn’t think I was especially well suited to, like staff management. I am now our Director of Permitting and Engineering Design—in the same role as the manager who hired me.”

Frequently Asked Questions

What happens after I apply?

Successful filing of your application will be confirmed by email. Each application will be screened relative to the position requirements and qualified candidates’ résumés will be forwarded to the hiring manager for that position. One or more candidates may be interviewed for each open position. If you are selected for an interview, you will be contacted directly.

How do I finish a previously started application? How can I check the status of my application? How do I update my account information?

To log into your account, select Sign In on the Career Center page. Once you are logged in you will be able to check the status of your application, finish a previously started application, and update your account information.

Is a cover letter required?

You are not required to submit a cover letter. However, written communication is important in our business, and this is a great opportunity to showcase your skills.

Can I apply for multiple positions at the same time?

Yes. Applying for multiple positions will not affect consideration for employment. After completing an application profile, you may use your profile to apply to any open positions of interest.

How long will you keep my résumé on file?

All applications and résumés will be held on file for one year. However, we request that candidates apply for each position that is of interest.

How long are positions open? Will I be notified when a position has closed?

All listed positions are open until filled and do not have a pre-set closing date. When a position has been filled, the job posting will be removed and an email notification will be sent to applicants.

I meet the job requirements; why wasn’t I contacted for an interview?

Even openings for highly specialized positions sometimes receive many applications, and some positions are filled by internal candidates. Due to high volume, we are not always able to interview every qualified candidate. We do appreciate the time and effort you took to apply, and hope you will consider us for future opportunities.

How do I submit my résumé? Do you accept unsolicited résumés? What happens if I have faxed, emailed, mailed, or hand-delivered my résumé?

Landau Associates only accepts résumés through the online application system for posted open positions. To apply for an open position at Landau Associates, please submit your résumé using our online application.

If you are an individual with a disability and require a reasonable accommodation to complete any part of this online application process, or, if due to the need for such an accommodation, you are unable to access or use this online application process and need an alternative method for applying, please contact our Human Resources Department at (800) 552-5957 for assistance.

Will background and reference checks be performed?

Landau Associates will perform reference checks and may do so at any point during the interview process. Background checks may be performed as required for specific positions and our insurance company requires that driving records be periodically reviewed for positions where use of company or rental vehicles is required. If you are selected for an interview, you can request more information regarding background checks at that time.
