Sea-Tac Airport Stormwater Infiltration Study

(SeaTac, WA)  Landau Associates conducted evaluations of SeaTac International Airport stormwater infiltration alternatives for the Port of Seattle’s Comprehensive Stormwater Management Plan (CSMP) in anticipation of the development of the airport’s third runway. We reviewed existing soil data for the airport, identified data gaps, conducted supplemental field investigations to characterize subsurface soil and groundwater conditions, developed hydrogeologic and geotechnical databases, and prepared a technical memorandum that presented geotechnical recommendations for stormwater infiltration testing and development and recommended stormwater infiltration areas for incorporation into the CSMP.
