Managing Stormwater in Oregon Conference June 20th< Back
Landau Associates is sponsoring the Managing Stormwater in Oregon conference, Tuesday, June 20, at the Red Lion Hotel on the River - Jantzen Beach, in Portland.
We are proud to have three speakers at this year's conference:
- Allison Bergseng, PE and Tim Logan of Landau Associates' Portland office will discuss how a Volume Reduction Waiver was successfully implemented in lieu of installing treatment for an industrial client in the Portland region. They will examine the regulatory theory for implementation, critical design steps, permitting challenges, implementation, economics, and most importantly, implications for future sampling events and permit compliance.
- Joe Kalmar, PE, of the Edmonds office, will present on the topic of the science of chitosan in the application of chitosan-enhanced sand filtration for advanced stormwater treatment.
Managing Stormwater in Oregon is the state's most comprehensive stormwater conference, bringing together regulated companies, solution providers, and government agencies to explore best practices and cost-effective solutions. The conference presents the latest information and best practices for compliance managers, solutions providers, and regulators in industrial and municipal stormwater management. Basic and advanced topics help permit holders identify cost effective solutions for staying in compliance and avoid costly actions and lawsuits.
