Landau Associates Moves Growing Olympia Office to Tumwater< Back
TUMWATER, WA June 1, 2017 – Landau Associates’ Olympia office has moved to a new location at 955 Malin Lane SW, Suite B, near the Olympia Regional Airport in Tumwater. This office, which is one of six offices for the Edmonds-based environmental consulting firm, will continue to be strategically located to serve clients throughout the region. Since opening their doors in downtown Olympia in 2013, the staff continues to grow.
Landau Associates CEO Jay Bower, PE, said “Our Olympia office provides a valuable base for serving our industrial and municipal clients in southwest Washington and the south Puget Sound. Most of the office’s staff grew up in the south Sound and are committed to quality of life in the region. We’ve invested substantially in our geotechnical engineering practice, which is predominately staffed in our Olympia and Edmonds offices and serves the south Sound as well our clients company-wide.”
Olympia office manager and Geotechnical Services Director Calvin McCaughan, PE grew up in the area and is proud to contribute to his hometown economy. “We have people who studied all around the country coming here to live and work,” he said. “It’s a great place to be, and people are recognizing that. The new location has additional office space to house the growing staff and provides space for our advanced geotechnical laboratory testing equipment.”
Environmental Permitting Director Chip Halbert, PE, said he’s excited about the opportunities to provide environmental permitting support to this growing geotechnical services practice; the two practices integrate well on transportation, infrastructure, and other development projects.
Telephone and email contacts remain the same and the staff looks forward to working with clients from their new location.
Landau Associates provides clients with environmental site management and engineering, geotechnical engineering, and permitting and compliance services in support of site and infrastructure development.
