Landau Associates Moves Growing Olympia Office to Tumwater

TUMWATER, WA June 1, 2017 – Landau Associates’ Olympia office has moved to a new location at 955 Malin Lane SW, Suite B, near the Olympia Regional Airport in Tumwater. This office, which is one of six offices for the Edmonds-based environmental consulting firm, will continue to be strategically located to serve clients throughout the region. Since opening their doors in downtown Olympia in 2013, the staff continues to grow.

Landau Associates is Switching to 100 Percent Recycled Office Papers

EDMONDS, WA December 7, 2015 – In early 2015, Landau Associates’ employee Sustainability Committee proposed that the company consider switching to entirely 100% post-consumer waste (PCW) recycled office papers. Recycled papers are widely considered to have a less negative impact on the environment than papers made from virgin fibers because the production process requires fewer trees and less water, energy, and toxic chemicals. The use of recycled papers also helps to keep paper out of landfills, reducing the creation of methane, a greenhouse gas that contributes to climate change.

Tim Logan Joins Permitting and Compliance Group in Portland

Tim Logan webEDMONDS, WA March 19, 2015 – Landau Associates welcomes Tim Logan to the firm's Portland office. Tim is a Senior Scientist in the Permitting and Compliance group. He has an extensive background in air quality, landfill gas, and environmental operations, and spent the last 13 years in landfill gas operations and landfill gas system design for solid waste facilities. Tim has both domestic and international design and construction management experience relative to landfill gas extraction and control systems. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Resource Management with a focus on Environmental Economics, and an Environmental Engineering minor from Penn State University.

This award is presented to a young professional leader who has made an outstanding contribution to air and waste management in the PNWIS region and for their contributions to PNWIS. Matt received this award for his contributions to the association by running the Environmental Challenge Program and organizing a workshop on Pacific Northwest energy exports.
