Community Involvement

We believe in our communities and in the concept of helping others who are in need.

Individually and as a firm we donate to and raise money in support of Northwest Harvest, Toys for Tots, American Cancer Society, Pacific Science Center, and many other charitable organizations. We have volunteered in support of Northwest Harvest, the Inner City Organization, school and park improvement projects, and many organizations that assist those in need or are dedicated to community betterment.

We also believe in the advancement of science and engineering to help make life better in our communities now and into the future. We volunteer as instructors and judges at school science fairs, participate in the development of college and high school science and math curricula, and participate actively in programs like Rare Care (to participate in the protection of rare and endangered plant species).

Our commitment and support to our employees' charitable efforts are underscored by our budgeting of two paid days per year for each employee to support charitable activities and a matching program for charitable donations.
