The annual Passing of the Gavel induction ceremony was featured at the ACEC 2011 Spring Conference, held in May at the Semiahmoo Resort in Blaine, WA. Landau Associates CEO Steve Johnston was introduced as the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) Washington Board Chair for 2011-2012. Outgoing Chairman Chris Robertson of Shannon & Wilson officially passed the gavel and oversaw the swearing in of the new 2011-12 Board of Directors.

Steve Johnston has served in a key management role at Landau Associates for over 24 years. In addition to his skillful management, he has provided project expertise in environmental planning, permitting, documentation, and due diligence evaluations. Steve has managed biological evaluations and assessments, site remedial investigations and cleanups, and environmental assessments. Steve also serves on the Board of the Association of Washington Business.
